Lunar Calendar 2027

A moon-first calendar for daily practice, observation, and orientation, created by Amsterdam based artist Gina Venolia.

The Lunation Calendar is a physical set of circular charts that follows the Moon from one new moon to the next, while placing each cycle within the larger shape of the year. It is a physical instrument for returning attention to the sky and to your place within its cycles. You do not need to understand every band before you begin. Mark the present moment, follow it through the chart, and let one observation lead to the next.
